I didn't realized making bento is addicted and here I am just moved to a new home. Why Boxed Meal? As I've mentioned in my first bento, 便當 Bian Dang (Piandang) is very famous here in Taiwan. Taiwanese adapted it from Japanese (Japanese invaded Taiwan for more than 50 years). Literally, Bian Dang means A Lunch in a Box. For me, I would just like to emphasized that Boxed Lunch could be eaten any time of the day that's why I end up naming this page Boxed Meal.
I made myself a lunch same food as I brought First Picnic Bento in our meeting (late in the afternoon). I have here the following:
pieces honey lime fried chicken
peppered beef with cheese and lettuce wrapped in tortilla
sweet potato fries
blanched broccoli
cookie
cheese
coconut macaroon
seedless grapes
I didn't put any dressing in tortilla wrapped since peppered beef is a bit salty.
Have a nice day!
This is so cute...I have been wanting to get into making bentos.
